Picked up a set of Nitto NT 555 G2s and had them mounted on a set of junkyard 18’s that I picked up. All in including mount/balance for $857.
I’ll admit that I learned about these tires from watching Cletus McFarland but they have really good reviews that indicate they last a while for a performance tire. Honestly I’ve never had true summer tires and these are probably a bit of overkill for my car but what the heck. Initial impressions are good very quiet and great road feel. There’s a dramatic difference going from my snow tires to these so it’s not a great comparison. Also those are 17” vs these 18”s.
Bumps are slightly more noticeable given the smaller sidewall but not as bad as I thought it would be.
